Introduction
The Conscious Leadership Company (TCLC) was founded by Natasha Wallace, a seasoned leadership coach and HR veteran, in response to the rising pressures of the modern workplace. With increasing demands on professionals, she observed the detrimental impact on leaders' well-being, which subsequently affected their teams through decreased productivity, heightened sickness rates, and increased employee burnout. Natasha’s vision was to leverage her expertise in conscious leadership to create a self-serve learning and development platform that would enhance leadership skills and well-being for both employees and HR departments.
Challenge
The main challenge was to translate Natasha’s knowledge of conscious leadership into a scalable, self-service product. TCLC envisioned a comprehensive three-part platform that would not only cater to HR needs but also empower employees directly. The first step was to define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for each component of this offering.
MVP
The final product consisted of three key parts, each designed to address specific needs:
Psychometric Tools: Developed with validated questions from University College London (UCL), these tools provide personalized reports and anonymous feedback to help users understand their leadership styles.
Consciously App: This component includes:
Learning content tailored to conscious leadership principles
Wellbeing tracking for users to monitor their mental health
Conscious questions based on learning to encourage reflection
Resource sharing capabilities for peer learning
360-degree peer feedback mechanisms
Community lessons to foster a shared learning environment
HR Admin Dashboard: This feature enables HR teams to:
Manage psychometric assessments and the consciously app
Oversee 360-degree peer feedback processes
View aggregated team data to gain insights into overall well-being and leadership effectiveness
Approach
Research and Validation: To ensure the product met the needs of its users, we conducted a series of qualitative and quantitative research sessions. This groundwork informed the design and functionality of the platform.

Sprint Design Feedback ↗Design Sprint to Validate MVP: Following the research, we organized design sprints to rapidly prototype and validate our feature sets. This iterative process allowed us to test concepts and refine them based on user feedback, ensuring that the final product aligned with user expectations.
Building a Design System: I led the design of a cohesive design system that spanned multiple features, ensuring a consistent user experience across the platform. This system facilitated smooth design iterations and collaboration among team members.

Results
The MVP was successfully launched in March, with enterprise clients such as JP Morgan and Ford adopting the platform. The user feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, indicating a strong demand for tools that enhance leadership and well-being in the workplace.
By effectively translating conscious leadership principles into a practical, self-serve product, TCLC is well-positioned to transform how organizations support their leaders and promote well-being among their teams. The project exemplifies our commitment to delivering impactful solutions that address the evolving needs of modern workplaces.
